ABOUT US

Old Fogey Farm Sanctuary was founded to shine a light on the beauty of farm animals. We are a vegan sanctuary encouraging people to open their hearts and minds to a more compassionate way of living.

Wilbur and Olive were our first babies at the farm in May 2014. However, our official nonprofit start date is March 2019.

My name is Christine (Cricket) Ross and I am the founder of Old Fogey Farm. My husband Randy is the treasurer. Together we share in this beautiful life. It is not always easy and it’s often heartbreaking but once you look into the eyes of the innocent you will find magic.

Our Family

LIFE ON THE FARM

Old Fogey Farm is home to 2 special needs house goats, 5 outside goats, 3 sheep, 1 mini donkey, 1 steer, 1 dog, 1 kitty, orphan squirrels, chipmunks, and many wildlife that visit us daily.

All donations received by the farm go toward feeding the animals high quality food, housing them and keeping them comfortable, and taking care of their veterinary needs. We strive everyday to give them the life they deserve and all the love in the world. And of course, they receive lots of treats!

Children’s Book

We recently wrote a children’s book titled “Otis finds a HOME.” The book tells the story of Otis, a calf with special needs who was born on a dairy farm and taken from his mother. His search to find her and the journey that leads him to his HOME and to a family that he never knew he needed is a heartwarming tale.

Proceeds from the book will support the farm.

Fundraising Events

Prior to COVID-19, we conducted events with local schools and restaurants. We look forward to scheduling them again in 2021 and seeing everyone soon.
